Arterritory Conversations With Collectors #4
“Arterritory Conversations with Collectors” is an annual publication created by the art and culture publishing house Arterritory.com.
The publication is a compilation of interviews with art collectors from all parts of the world, with the aim of introducing the public to the most important and prestigious art collections, as well as demonstrating that art can become a meaningful part of everyone’s life. The project documents relevant conversations on the situation of art today, as well as on the possible paths of future development in the art world, thereby popularizing the art scene and garnering interest from as large a part of society as possible.
„I think that collectors are born, not made. In fact, I think that collecting is… a glitch in your genetic code”, muses American art collector Robert M. Rubin, one of the interviewees of the latest issue.
The creators of the current issue of “Arterritory Conversations with Collectors” (already the fourth one) believe that the magazine has the potential to awaken the “collector’s gene” that we all might possess – a piece of DNA lying dormant in every one of us, simply waiting to be switched on.
The latest issue, “Arterritory Conversations with Collectors Vol.4”, features fourteen conversations with the following influential art collectors from around the world: Robert M. Rubin, Erika Hoffmann-Koenige, Noemi Givon, Frédéric de Goldschmidt, Al Shands, Candida Gertler, Amos Schocken, Timo Miettinen, Galila Barzilaï Hollander, Vilius Kavaliauskas, Patricia Vergez, Andrew and Christine Hall, and Bernar Venet.
